A bankcard is required for all ATM transactions.

Auto Insurance

We take payments for several auto insurance companies.

Auto Titles/Registration/Transfers

Just bring in your Illinois or out-of-state title. If you wish to transfer your plates from another vehicle to your own, please provide your registration ID card. If you are ordering new plates, we can issue a temporary registration permit, so that you can drive immediately. You can pick up your new plates in 5-10 days, and the title will be mailed to your home.

Check Cashing

We cash the following checks: payroll, government, pension, 401K, rollover, unemployment, workmen's compensation, insurance, tax refund, cashier checks, money orders, travelers and personal checks*. Please bring photo identification (driver's license, state ID, passport, armed services card, etc.).

*Not all locations cash personal checks. Call in advance to verify if a location will cash your personal check.

City of Chicago Parking and Red Light Tickets

You can pay City of Chicago Parking tickets and Red Light tickets and receive immediate credit. We’ll issue a receipt on the spot. All you need to provide is a ticket number.

City of Chicago Stickers

All vehicles registered in Chicago must display a Chicago city sticker. We sell passenger, large passenger, and senior citizen stickers, and can do so instantly. Please bring your preprinted application, or a driver's license and license plate number.

Cook County Birth/Marriage/Death Certificates

You can receive certified copies of birth, marriage, or death certificates. They are delivered directly to our locations by armored car service. To obtain a copy of a birth certificate for an individual 18 years or older, please provide a driver's license or state ID. A parent needs to be present and provide ID to obtain a copy of a birth certificate for someone under the age of 18. To obtain a copy of your marriage certificate, you must provide a driver's licenseor state ID. Only one party needs to be present. To obtain a copy of a death certificate, a member of the family of the deceased must present their driver's license or state ID.

Credit Card Cash Advance

To obtain credit card cash advances directly from your credit card, you will need a picture ID (driver's license, state ID, passport, armed services card, etc.) and your credit card.

CTA Passes

We carry an assortment of CTA transit cards for use on Chicagoland public transportation.

Debit Cards

The Chicago All-Access MasterCard was designed for exclusive distribution to CCEA stores. This re-loadable debit card can be used at any participating Currency Exchange, at over 1 million ATM machines, or at any merchant accepting MasterCard, for both PIN and signature purchase transactions.

Direct Deposit

We offer direct deposit for anyone that receives a payroll or government benefit. Government checks include; social security, unemployment, baby sitter, caregiver, foster parent, IRS tax refund, pension, annuity and loan. To sign up you’ll need to provide photo identification along your payroll or government check or debit card.

Direct Deposit (Secure Check)

Government, payroll, and other types of checks can be sent electronically to the Currency Exchange of your choice. Your money will be available at a location convenient for you, when you choose to pick it up. Simply sign the forms, which we complete for you, provide a picture ID (driver's license, state ID, passport, armed services card, etc.), and an actual copy of the check you want direct deposited. Each pay period, funds for the check will be automatically deposited in your account at the location of your choice. Just show your picture ID, and you'll receive your check. You can take it with you, or we can cash it for you instantly.

Electronic Bill Pay

You can pay your gas, water, electric, telephone, and most cell phone and cable TV bills at many currency exchanges. Since your payment is handled electronically, your account is credited within 24-48 hours. For faster service, please bring your bill or provide your account number.

Fax Service

We will gladly send and receive faxes to and from anywhere in the world.

Foreign Currency Exchange

We can exchange most paper foreign paper currency for you on the spot. Coins are not accepted.

Gift Cards

We sell prepaid VISA gift cards, the perfect gift for anyone and any occasion. The non re-loadable gift card can be used for shopping, dining, or traveling everywhere VISA is accepted.

Income Tax Preparation

Some locations offer expert federal and state income tax preparation service. Refund Anticipation Loans or the less expensive 7-10 electronic refunds are also available.

License Plate/Renewal

You can purchase a sticker immediately, either during the month it is due, the month before your expiration, or the month after your expiration.

Money Orders

Our money orders are insured and accepted worldwide.

Notary Public

To get a document notarized, bring the document and a picture ID (driver's license, state ID, passport, armed services card, etc.). Remember the document must be signed by you, while the notary is present.

Photocopies

Just hand us the material you want copied, and we'll do the rest.

Postage Stamps

We sell individual postage stamps and books of various denominations. Stamped envelopes are also available.

Prepaid Phone Cards/Cell Phones/Pagers

We offer a wide variety of products and packages. Credit checks and IDs are not required.
